A Family Legacy Built on Craftsmanship, Safety & Integrity
City Wide Group has been family owned and operated since 1971, when founder Harry Cavan transitioned from the printing business into construction. Recognizing an opportunity in specialized services, Harry helped grow City Wide Group from a small team into a trusted name in structural repair, waterproofing, and restoration across Ontario.
Now led by his son Chris Cavan, the company continues to uphold the family’s hands-on values. Chris began his career in the trenches—literally—working on job sites from a young age before earning a Building Renovation Technology diploma from George Brown College. Today, he oversees daily operations and drives growth in the commercial and restoration markets.
